Pardon the mess...
This blog is a work in progress...just like life! But instead of waiting for it to be "finished" to publish, I'd love for you to visit, comment and enjoy the process with me. After all, the journey is the best part of anything! So, please check back often to see what has changed and where this path leads us.

Don't Need No Stinking Crutches...
Since my knee surgery last week, Josh has been the one exercising and playing with the dogs outside. My involvement has been pretty much limited to trick training indoors, snuggling and building bad habits of letting them up on the bed with me. Yesterday, Josh went back to work so it was my first day home alone with them. I was walking but decided to keep one crutch for "protection" in case things got rowdy at my feet. When Josh got home, he noticed my crutch outside next to the slider and asked "how long until you ditched the crutch?" I couldn't really remember...hehe!
The crutch is still here...sort of my little reminder to be careful and take it easy, limit my activity, take breaks to ice, move slowly and try to walk normally. I haven't touched it today, but it's there...if I need it...just in case.

The best band-aid
Since having my knee surgery last week, the dogs have been encouraging healing by means of the "smother" technique. Callie is by far the best band-aid!!
